Aman Misra is a journalism scholar whose research examines sports journalism, disability, and public memory. He received his Ph.D. in Journalism and Electronic Media from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2026.

His academic work has appeared in Communication & Sport. His public-facing writing has appeared in USA TODAY and The Telegraph (Kolkata).

In Fall 2026, he will teach Introduction to Sports and Communication and The Influence of Sports Media on Modern Society as an adjunct instructor at Temple University.
